One I really regret parting with in the late 1990s was my VF Valiant Regal 770 Hardtop which had the top-shelf 230bhp'Fireball' 318cid V8, console floor-shift Torqueflite auto, pleated and stitched buffalo-grain interior trim, vinyl roof etc. It had some rust bubbles forming under the rear window and needed some general tidying up, as it was an original unrestored car. I wish I still had it today as Hardtops in that spec are pretty rare. It was also as straight as a gun-barrel as this pic shows. And I loved those old NSW plates.
