The Shannons Rally Retro Festival took place last weekend, featuring more than 60 rally cars of significance from around Australia.
In its fifth year of running, the event drew a healthy crowd to the METEC Driver Training facility in the Victorian suburb of Bayswater.
Spectators could get up close and personal with their rally favourites in the paddock or see them at speed around the short rally stage featuring a mixture of tarmac and gravel surfaces.
Notable entries included Australian rally stalwart Cody Crocker behind the wheel of a 1991 Subaru Legacy RS, Mike Bailey’s Michelin-stickered Ford Escort WRC and Gerry Duyvestyn in his beautiful Lancia Stratos.
