Shannons Auto Caffeine: April 13th Event Wrap Up

Shannons hosted simultaneous Auto Caffeine events in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney showrooms for the first time this year, Saturday morning April 13.

An estimated turnout of 1,200 people along with 600 – 700 cars brought the three showrooms to life, with a wide variety of cars and bikes on show for the Shannons community to enjoy.

There were notable guests in the Sydney and Melbourne showrooms, with Marty from Mighty Car Mods bringing himself and two vehicles to Artarmon, and Shannons ambassador Dale Wood along with his Porsche to Heatherton as he prepares for Round 2 of Porsche Carrera Cup Australia in Taupo, New Zealand.

All sites featured food and coffee vans for customers to enjoy breakfast, as well as racing simulators and commercial traders to expand what was on offer to the community.

Victoria’s event integrated with a local motorcycle group Melbourne Street Riders as well as the Victorian State Race Series. There was a healthy number of motorcycles as enthusiasts stopped in at Auto Caffeine as part their Saturday morning ride.

The Victorian State Race Series meanwhile brought some impressive race cars to display, showing off some of the best grass roots racing machines and racing action Australia has to offer.

Across the three sites there was an increased number of JDM hero vehicles on display, mixed in with the usual offering of vintage, chrome bumper and muscle cars and bikes. With such variety, it emphasised what makes the Shannons community so special.
