TasVacations brings to the motoring enthusiast the Shannons Targa Tasmania Classic Rallye 2020.
A unique opportunity to be a part of the ultimate Tarmac Rallye- Targa Tasmania
This year giving rallye entrants the opportunity to rub shoulders, talk cars and have lunch/dinner during the week with Targa Tasmania legend and 7 time Targa Winner- Jim Richards
You will mix with the Targa Tasmania competitors from the start to the finish, leading the entire field in your classic car at selected stages across the State in front of adoring spectators.
The Rallye is a non-competitive touring event that combines the best of Tasmania with an inside view of the competitive components of the event.
This magnificant 9 day classic rallye will guide you through natural wonders and quaint towns via some of the Targa Tasmania stages.
You will stop along the way to mavel Tasmania's history, breathtaking scenery & indulge in the best of the state's award-winning food & wine.
To qualify, generallly your car on this classic rallye should be at least 30 years of age or be eligible for historic registration in your state of origin, be in above average condition and be capable of cruising easily at 90kms per hour for the duration of the event.
Both driver & navigator must hold a CAMS L2 non speed licence.
Tour places are strictly limited and will be filled on the the order of registrations received and accepted.
Your 9 day, 8 night "motoring enthusiast guided" tour will end as you cross the Official Finish in Hobart, where you will receive your Targa Tasmania Finishes Medallion.
Then celebrate the success of the Rallye at the exclusive Shannons VIP Finishes Marquee Party, followed by your groups own Finishes Presentation Dinner.
Prices: Base tour price is $3650.00 per person twin share plus a Rallye Registration Fee of $1300.00 per car. Tasmanian prices is only $3030 per person and includes all rallye benefits except Spirit of Tasmania return sea travel.
The tour is restricted to maximum numbers and all spaces are usually fully allocated.
