Perfect candidate for Sandman tribute. $35k

1981 Holden WB Windowless panel van in 'Tourquay Sand'

Roadworthy certificate 4/4/2016

She turned 35 this year and is a genuine classic, all original with a few mod cons:

Dedicated LPG - 300 to 350 km per tank @ 55c/ltr $35 per tank!
White Sunraiser wheels on fat 295 tyres for a 'Tradie' look
CD/DVD with 4 speakers for the Drive In (or not!)
Current annual insurance premium with Shannons around $500

Spent the first 25 years (with owner from new) in Penrith, 5 garaged in Taree, then the last 5 garaged (and daily drive) on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
I'm always being 'held up' by admirers at the pump.

Original manual service book and manual still in the glovebox.
Regularly serviced.

Respray top to tail (tiny surface rust around bottom door sills - it's a Holden!)
Original motor with new radiator and hoses in tidy engine bay
LPG1 (Lilydale) gas conversion - 70 litre tank (cap and gooseneck, so provision to add unleaded tank for duel fuel)
Reconditioned 'Aussie 4 speed' gearbox, new clutch and bell housing
Main, gearbox and differential seals
Brake master cylinder, new pads all round and complete suspension overhaul (including ball joints and idler arm)
4 new tyres
Wiring loom, windscreen, cockpit carpet and floor pans
SL Commodore style heavy duty bench seat rebuild (no burning your legs on Holden 'leather' :>)

Original spares including: rims, mud flaps, air filter cannister and a spare driver's side door (worth $400 to $500 on eBay!)

Recent 'loving' restoration by Danny at Kingswood Parts Recovery in Bayswater (who also does servicing).

May suit an established 'tradie' (it is a commercial) to go with the HSV or someone like me who thoroughly enjoyed the van for weekend and interstate adventures.

As GMH is winding up in a few short years, the value of the van will only go north.

This is a unique and now very rare vehicle. I have only ever seen another 5 WB vans on the road, but none with the original 253 V8 4 speed manual set up.
