Years ago had a customer in trouble as his car was damaged in an accident only shortly after getting in back on the road. This sounds familiar but when your parts take six months to arrive it is not so good and when you try to fit them they are wrong part your stuck. The 308 GTB has several fron bumpers and this was the eary type that is slim. That is the story here the bumper was $5,000 or so and I saved the day by making an opposite handed or mirror image of the bumper that was good to replace the missing section. I then made a mould then some parts. Everything fitted fine and car was back on the road with a very happy customer and panel beater. The other tricky part of the repair I thought was the body repair as it was an aluminium body needed to be hand beaten back in shape.
