Here at work again with a car that was scaled up from a model car here in Australia. I was asked to make the bodies and kind of complete things to go into production. Not many of these cars were sold in Australia but they did well in the USA and Europe. Some customers were even driving them on the road yes and not here. I my mind this car is an Icon car. To reproduce these so others can enjoy them has been a highlight for my business. At one point Alan Hamilton came up with original drawings for the car as well so they were not so much of a look alike car but accurate to the drawings. We even had origonal tail from a different year and style shipped from the UK that was fitted and a nice snug fit as well. These cars produced by porsche when raced were subsequently banned as they went too fast. How fast is too fast well fast enough that the current cars at Lemans are not going any faster and after almost 50 years that is quite a big deal. I am sure saftey has come a long way.
