History
I bought it from a lady whose grandfather purchased it in 1964. It was her first car, and moved around through family members over the years. I intended a reasonably quick and basic rebuild to get it back on the road, but of course things quickly got serious and more involved.
Car got - rebuilt motor, new floors, re-upholstered seats, rebuilt front and rear suspension, new brakes, all new body rubbers, bailey channel, seat belts - the works, basically. Everything except new paint - car seems to have been "touched up" in the past, and while certainly not show quality its quite good enough for me.
Modifications
It lacked a heater, cigarette lighter, panic straps, ash tray, radio, mud flaps - anything vaguely accessory-ish. Most items have been sourced and are in the process of being fitted. Also added a brake booster to the tiny 4-wheel drum brakes. It's a work in progress!
