History
Original owners daily ride for 20+ years before it was ridden with no oil... Not good. Was pulled apart, stripped down, some parts repainted and then placed in shed until retirement. Unfortunately in very early retirement the original owner passed away due to cancer. This was my mothers’ partner. Several years later I decided to bring the old bike out, in all its pieces, boxes of parts, containers of bolts, nuts and millions of little parts every where - there was literally not one part joined to another part on the whole bike - and set about restoring her to her formwer glory. 1 st step was to get a suitable mechanical engineer to rebuild the engine. Found a guy in Perth with a very suitable reputation in the motorcycle drag racing world who rebuild the original 750 cc engine with a few tweaks as outlined below. Am very happy with his work. Cheers to Ray Easson!!!
Kept on working away behind the scenes sourcing OEM replacement parts (which many available still direct from Suzuki), sanding, painting, plating etc etc . Restored mostly to original conditional other than carbies (which I still have originals), rear shocks (which I still have originals), braided brake lines, 4-1 exhaust system (originals very hard to source and very expensive) and a few minor colour variations.
Was licenced in Perth and has been an unreal ride ever since - A great project and cant wait to try another!!
