History
I purchased the bike in September 2020 as a restoration project. I am a mechanic and an electric by trade. I am also restoring a HR sedan which is a restored mod. I designed and engineered the full chassis setup and all of the 4 link rear suspension. I also designed and fabricated the complete front suspension including tubular control arms and crossmembers etc. I have a full workshop at Darra with a paint booth, professional sandblaster, hoist, self built powder coat oven which is how I powder coated the majority of the motorbike. I also taught myself TIG welding and the HR is completely TIG welded no MIG.
Modifications
This is a 1947 WL Civilian Harley 45”. The bike has been restored to better than original with many improvements on handling and reliability.
