History
My first ever purchase of a brand new bike, in 1998. I'm told it was the last black T595 to be imported into Australia.
Stolen by a scum-sucking piece of s*** in 2000.
Subsequently ripped off by scum-sucking insurance company, Western QBE. It was stolen before $6000 worth of crash damage had been repaired, so they said it was worth $6000 less than new. On top of that, they claimed the factory alarm and immobiliser had not been "approved" by them, so an extra $1500 excess would apply for it being stolen. The crash damage was being paid for by responsible party, but they refused to recoup that money on my behalf. So, basically, they paid me $7500 less than the bike was actually worth.
I actually called Western QBE to check if the alarm was approved before having it included in the purchase price... of course, I had no proof of that because it was just a phone call.
