Our Austin A30 is an English built 1954 4 door sedan. Her name is "MABEL" as per the personalised number plates. When we purchased it, the previous owner had painted it what looked like house paint or "something" like it. The engine was gutless and when it was stripped, only 1 piston had unbroken rings, but it still ran. The foot brake pedal went to the floor. So it needed some TLC as it wasnt safe to drive. Did the engine and brakes, but even then it was not at all comfortable in traffic. So that's when we decided to sort it out. And that took a couple of years. Now it's a pleasure to drive and we get lots and lots of lookers and complements whenever we take it out.
