Trailered this Old girl from her original one owner home in Mildura. The dry weather has certainly benefited this emerging classic and is still registered. I checked the oil and connected a new battery and she fired after about 15 cranks. After driving around for about 1/2 an hour I couldnt believe how comfy and smooth these olf Fords are... certainly a different ride from the pony at home. We are looking at doing a resto for the young bloke as a first car as he is showing some interest in the more classic than plastic motors. I think its a good base as we have given her a wash from a few coats of red dust and only found a 50cent rust hole in the bottom of a door skin.......
Love the old steel venetians and sun visor although I think the vinyl roof will have to go, they just never looked good.
