History
This was a prototype car made by a German Company in 1982. Its most outstanding feature is a 6.4 L V10 Hydrogen combustion engine with Nitro Methane injection system. We are yet to get it on a dyno but the specs claim an incredible 1375 hp
There was only 3 made and a total of 5 engines built. It has been a nightmare to re-build some of the ceramic components. To blow and engine would be almost the end of this project. It has taken about 6 years part time.
Modifications
It has mostly been the refurbishment of the engine and fuel system that was in pretty bad shape. The valve seats are ceramic and have been the most difficult part of the rebuild getting the composition right and shrinkage from tooling ratio's etc..
The historical story of the designer is interesting as he is a descendent of the genius Wernher von Braun.
The Company lost its backing money in the Japanese crisis of 1991and stopped work on the project.
