1956 Ford Crown Victoria

This is Vicki’s 1956 Ford Crown Victoria under construction. She purchased the car in Renton, Washington, USA, during a trip to the 2002 US Nationals and to see our friends in Seattle. It was owned by Fred Sanderson, owner of Dark Horse Performance, a Ford performance shop in Renton, Wa.
The car sits on an Australian Mainline Ute chassis, which is identical to the original except it’s right-hand drive.
The engine is a 5L Ford EFI, bored and stroked to 350 Cu In. Induction is GT40 stack injection. Trans is Australian BTR 4 speed controlled by factory Trans Controller.
Engine Management for the car is Megasquirt 3.
Diff is narrowed EF Falcon V8 diff with RodTech coil-over kit.
Front end is 56 Ford, EF spindles, A-Arms rebuilt with modern suspension bushings and components, brakes are 4 wheel disc.
