Blaster is my 1967 vw baja bug he was and still is my first car. I bought him in Kuluin on the Sunshine Coast but he had been staying in the previous owners parent's barn where he sat for 17ish years. When I first saw him he was absolutley covered in dust about an inch on every panel or part so as soon as he got home I gave him a good bath with the pressure washer before getting the bucket and sponge out and then I was in all the crevices where I couldn't get with the pressure washer. I wouldn't have pressure washed him if I had known he was no.18 of 25 that were sold by meyers manx at Burleigh Heads and 1 of 1 sold in 1969 so he wasn't very old when he became a baja. It was then that he was resprayed the red that he is now but he was originally a turquoise-ish colour. He is now undergoing a full body off pan restoration where he will become possibly a dark purple. He is stripped down to the body and pan with a tiny bit o interior left like guages and steering wheel and bits like that but he has no fenders no fuel tank no stereo (He won't be getting one back) and he is still losing parts day by day.

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from people about there cars.
