I purchased this restoration project on Ebay from interstate and had the frame transported from country Victoria to Queensland by furniture truck along with "all the parts" in about 15 boxes! I soon discovered I had to order many many many parts, mainly from Corvette Central in the USA, resulting in very regular visits by couriers. I painstakingly repaired and rebuilt the fibreglass body with the assistance of a professional. I then prepped the body to paint as I am an experienced tradesman but had the 2 pac applied in a paintshop. I chose Impact White as this is fequently used on very expensive cars. I chose a red interior which was imported over including the seats, dash, steering wheel, carpet and door trims. This colour combination is original to the car. Complete with a white soft top. This colour combination is complimented by white wall tyres and new rims.

I have put the engine back together including getting an engine rebalance and new cam to really push out the horsepower. I have kept the restoration basically originally although for safety I have updated lights, brakes and  ignition. New wiring harness was a must for safety. The car is a matching engine and vin. Rare 327 4 speed manual with fuelly heads. I have personalised plates AC162 as a final touch to the vehicle.

I have taken it to 2 events and have received trophies on both occasions of which I am of course proud due to all the hours and effort put into this car by myself and other people who have assisted along the way.
