Spare Parts:
Our inventory of new and used parts is continually growing, keeping a wide variety of spare parts for all MG models, from general service components to quality restoration essentials. We also carry a wide range of reconditioned exchange units (e.g. Motors, Gearboxes, Diffs, Calipers, Kingpins and Brake & Clutch Cylinders), to ensure a wide variety of options to our customers.
Service / Repair:
Over the past 50+ years, Abingdon Motors has employed many top mechanics who have been vital in training younger apprentices, to their very high standards. Many of which have had extensive experience, especially in the UK, on MGs and other collectible British cars.
This is a tradition that continues today, with our 3 in house mechanics and one apprentice, who’s experience and passion is reflected in our workshop.
Restoration Services:
As Queensland’s, if not Australia’s, most recognised and highly regarded MG parts and service business, Abingdon Motors added car restoration to our portfolio of services, as result of customer demand.
As a priority, research into the original specifications of MGs was carried out, and the fruits of this labour paid off. Abingdon Motor’s restorations have won an unprecedented three outright National MG Concourse titles, plus numerous local events.
Over many years MG City has acquired and produced our own accurate patterns to produce the woodwork for all post-war T-Type models to original specification.
But we understand that not all customers want a concourse winning restoration, or can afford the time or money they demand. At Abingdon Motors we take the time to discuss your cars restoration plans, and work within your budget to best suit your requirements, to guarantee your satisfaction.
