The Warnbro Sound Wanderers are a very active branch, with a ride
every Sunday leaving from Warnbro shopping centre, as well as coffee
mornings every Wednesday at Pengo’s café Shoalwater, plus monthly
Saturday maintenance days, monthly Friday casserole nights and Bi
monthly Friday night rides throughout the warmer months (October to
March). There are also local restaurant Friday nights, for those that
don’t like riding at night. Our Sunday rides are all graded, so you
can choose from the longer country rides, or the shorter more
localised rides that range from a breakfast ride, to lunch in a quaint
country town. All our rides have a ride leader, and a tail end
Charlie, with all riders riding at their own pace. We also use a
corner marking system that
usually means we all arrive without mishap.
We welcome all types of bikes, whether they are sports bikes,
tourers or cruisers. Our rides are planned three months in advance,
with destinations, ride leader with phone number and ride skill levels
all noted, this standard of ride calendar is something that is unique
to our branch Australia wide!!
