The NORTHERN MOTORING CLUB Inc. was established to enjoy the
friendship of like minded vehicle enthusiasts in promoting the
restoration and preservation of all classes of vehicles. It is not a
prerequisite for a perspective Club Member applicant to own either a
historic, vintage or classic vehicle.
Membership is open to family, couples or individuals. Family
membership is inclusive of partners and dependent children. Once the
child has reached 18 years of age, they are required to hold
individual membership.
The Club organises a calendar of motoring related social outings,
drives, vehicle shows, attendance at aged homes and schools, visits to
and invites from other car clubs to attend combined events, etc. The
activities are deemed relevant to the Club Member’s motoring
enthusiasm and are organised to promote enjoyment and fellowship
between members and their invited guests.
Intending members must submit a written application on the Club’s
application form, signed by two club members and submitted to the
Management Committee for assessment. Appropriate Joining and
Membership fees must accompany the application form. Perspective new
members must attend a minimum of two advertised club events within the
first two months from the application form’s submission. Management
will confirm your membership acceptance with a membership card
presentation at the completion of the two month probation period. If
your application is unsuccessful, you will be advised in writing and
your fees paid will be refunded.
