About

The club had its first meeting in August 1984 and was incorporated in 2001 with the aims of making it as accessible as possible to all people with an interest in all pre-Second World War and early post Second World War SS and JAGUAR cars whether they be owners, drivers or enthusiasts and to promote fellowship among members through rallies, workshops, outings, meetings, special interest speakers and the like.   The club is structured so that it has only one general meeting a year where the office bearers (president, secretary and treasurer) are elected and other issues raised. The office bearers are the Management Committee and meet quarterly to conduct club business. The club publishes a quarterly newsletter for members containing write ups of outings, technical articles of interest and other items of interest to club members.   The club encourages members to use their cars and has at least one longer four to six day run a year. Other runs are usually day runs with the occasional overnight run.   The club has a strong social focus and events that are held cater for the interests of both sexes. Members of the club have a wealth of knowledge of the cars and offer help and assistance to members sourcing parts and restoring cars. Visit our website for more details and photos.www.classicjaguar.org.au   Anyone who has an interest in Jaguars can join the club but only those that have Jaguars with chassis can vote. Membership is $25 pa with a $20 joining fee.
