History

Started off as a 351 2V and then had a major rebuild, if they ever made a modern day Boss 429 this would be it..

Modifications

This 1972 Ford Boss 429 Grand Torino Sport is one brute of a muscle car. built with many features include power steering, four wheel disc brakes which are cross drilled, 16" Magnum 500 wheels with NASCAR branded Good Year Eagle Tires. The incredible engine in this car dynoed at 579 H.P. (Boss 429) engine with serpentine drive, electric fans, MSD Distributor, a roller cam, custom headers and 12.0 compression ratio. The engine is backed by TKO 5 speed transmission shifted by a correct Hurst shifter and Ford 9" rear. The car was shown in a Detroit Motor Show in 2012..Since arriving in Australia this car has had more work a oil cooler added rocker covers powder coated a new high capacity sump with a Jon Kaase high flow oil pump as well as new interior one more thing to be done 2016 a re paint of the car to make it one the most unique cars in Australia..
