Dad got a Hayman Reese towbar, Air shocks on the back, tinted windows, a 'Chapman lock' security thing, Endrust & Armourglaze?, and they talked him into 'a better radio/cassette' which wasn't real good. :) Dad fitted a tacho for his trip. Clock kept stopping overnight in the desert on trip. Apart from that very reliable. Replaced a harmonic thingy in the V8, and I had to do a new rack. Oh, it got a venetian in the back window at some point. i think it cost him ~$14k new. edit: I should note that i have a 2017 VFII SV6 Sportwagon in 'Son of a Gun' grey as my daily driver. The Mrs has a 2017 Astra RS hatch in black. The VEII SV6 in the photo is one of my best ever cars I've owned, a tie with the VF Calais that followed it.
