Not often that you see '58 Chevs in retirement homes, but the two side-by-side were part of a huge yard of over 500 cars which were auctioned off in the late 1980s. Most of them went for their scrap value as Simms probably cleared most of them out. However these two probably sold on the strength of their rhd dashboards and steering gear. The other '58 has been in this yard in Northern NSW for over 30 years, along with a '61 Phoenix. Not much left, although the sun-visor is an unusual accessory...
