I agree about the larger V-car proposal, TimRH. It has everything the VB Commodore needed: length, width and room for bigger engines. GM made a mistake in not progressing it. I've added an image that compares Holden's cancelled WA car (it was meant to replace the HQ-HZ in 1978), the large V-car hatchback and the sedan. Shows how far ahead Holden were in 1974. Indeed, the large V-car hatchback looks like it is a replica of the WA.
