This weekend will see the debut of a Todd Hazelwood in a Shannons liveried V8 Supercar, which will compete at Homebush in the last round of the Dunlop Development series for 2013.

The drive was just one part of the prize Todd received from Shannons after winning the Shannons Supercar Showdown series. The win also saw Todd win a testing contract with Ford Performance Racing and feedback from Team Director Tim Edwards is that Todd is one impressive young man and a deserving winner.

“The Shannons Supercar Showdown series provides the opportunity to recognise young talent and to help them fulfil their dreams of driving in V8 Supercars. Past winners Cameron Waters – the youngest driver to ever compete at Bathurst, and Jesse Dixon – who won the second season and co drive with Cameron to form the youngest ever team at Bathurst, have helped make motor racing history.

Todd has already demonstrated he is a real talent on the track and we will be watching with interest as he progresses through his racing career. On behalf of Shannons, we have had the pleasure of assisting him in this endeavour” said Mark Behr, Marketing Manager for Shannons.

Make sure you watch all the action on Channel 7 this weekend, to see Todd and the Shannons colours debuting in Sydney for the first time.
