Emerson Harvey signs with Ricciardo Kart & Patrizicorse for 2016

Shannons is very proud to announce that Emerson will join such a great team backed by one of the biggest names in Formula 1, Daniel Ricciardo This is a team that is rising to the top as fast as Daniel himself, signing some of the biggest names from Australia & around the world.

Gavin Harvey, Emerson’s Dad said, “We have worked with the team a couple of times last year and we were really impressed, to actually be driving for the factory team is every kids’ dream. There is no doubt this will be a tough year for Emerson but I think he’s more then ready for the challenge.”

Michael Patrizzi Co owner of Ricciardo karts said, "Emerson Harvey is a welcome addition to our team and this young driver needs no introduction given his record during the 2015 season, 15 wins, 15 podiums and 5 pole positions. We are very pleased to secure this talented 12 year old and KA12 standout as Emerson moves into the competitive junior category.”

Shannons will continue its ongoing support of Emerson’s racing career for the third consecutive year, which makes this one of the longest partnerships in karting. Emerson was quoted on his Facebook page that is administered by his parents as saying “I’m very proud to be representing such a great Australian Company”.

This year’s season kicks off early with the first round of the Australian Championship series at Dubbo in NSW on February 5-7. Emerson will also compete in the Victorian State series and various other open meetings.
