Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso have marched on to Argentina for the next race on the MotoGP calendar alongside their fellow competitors. Jorge Lorenzo is feeling much better after suffering from bronchitis and is training hard to be ready for the challenging Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo circuit. The circuit has 5 left and 9 right hand corners and Marquez feels relaxed and confident about his chances this weekend. He is looking to continue with the momentum gained from Texas. The circuit record still belongs to Dani Pedrosa with a time of 1’39.233 but this could change with Marquez cracking lap records two races into the season.

Last year the top three finishes were Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo. With that said, anything can happen in MotoGP and it will be interesting to see how the Ducati’s shape up again this weekend after technical issues last year. Rossi will be doing everything to win and stay ahead of the pack. He hopes the tarmac surface of the track has improved from last year, as it suits the YZR-M1. Jack Miller looks to ease off on his tyres and learn to be less aggressive on them. The most important lesson for a rider is how to manage the Bridgestone and Dunlop tyre. If you are too aggressive, the tyre shreds and you are left with a limit of how much you can push. Whereas, if you manage them you can push throughout the race and potentially win depending upon the bike set up and race pace for that particular weekend. Jack is capable of finishing with more points and will put his lessons to use in Argentina.

On the other side of the coin, Danny Kent in the Moto3 category is definitely the man to beat. He is the current Championship leader of the series and his Honda power is definitely upsetting the KTM riders who have yet to score a podium finish after being the dominant manufacturer in the past. Remy Gardner is hoping for a more positive and clean weekend. In Moto2, the dream of clinching a back-to-back World Championship for Tito Rabat seems quite difficult. Last year, Tito led every lap at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo circuit and was a tough competitor for anyone behind him. This year, Tito is aiming for a drama free weekend after the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Moto2 team have yet to score a podium and race win. Rabat is currently 10th in the standings and no one expected him to be so far down considering his skills. The surprise of the season is rookie Alex Rins who moved up from the Moto3 category. Rins is leading the title charge on 29 points followed closely by Johann Zarco on 28, Jonas Folger on 25 and Sam Lowes also on 25. This weekend is very important for every single rider and in particular those who have their hands in the Championship pie!
