The 7th Annual David Calleja Memorial Car Show is to be held on Sunday 5th February, 2012 in the historic, picturesque grounds of Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh. A great family day out with onsite catering, country market, children amusements, live music, trade stalls and swap meet. The event is primarily for the display of vintage, veteran, classic, modified and restored vehicles including cars, trucks and motorcycles along with Rods - pre 1986. We recognise that there are many other unique and highly sought after examples of vehicles in the modern era, however this event is primarily for the older motoring classics.
The 28th Annual All British Day is one of SA's largest car and motorcycle display days and is organised on behalf of the members of all motor cars and motorcycle clubs in SA with British vehicles. A special feature of the 2012 event will be the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Ford and Lotus Cortina MK1, Cortina Mk2 and Ford Capr, with vehicles being provided for display by owners of the Cortin Capri Car Club of South Australia, Lotis Car Club of Australia and other local clubs. Admission is $6 for Adults, and $4 for children (6-16). Ample free parking available with a free shutttle bus service from Basket Range Road to the town centre.

The 8th annual Summer Classic - Car and Bike Show will take place on Saturday 25th of February 2012. All proceeds raised on the day will be donated to Helping Hands - MS Research and TLC for Kids. The primary objectives of Helping Hands MS is to "find a breakthrough" in MS research, in addition to raise public awareness to the vast amount of Australians who have little knowledge of the illness. While TLC for Kids works to provide urgent assistance and support for kids and families in hospitals around Australia. By providing emergency distractions to nurture the emotional wellbeing of kids undergoing medical treatment, within 48 hours of the request being made. Trophies will be awarded for Best Car and Bike. It is 'Black Saturday Remembrance Cruise' A cruise to remember the devastation of the Black Saturday fires. Cruising through fire affected communities to show our support. We will have Russell and his newly restored Holden FX - tribute to the one he lost in the fires, cruising with us and we hope to have his destroyed one on show at the destination point. Volkswagen drag racing returns to Sydney Dragway on February 24th -25th 2012 after an absence of 8 years. This will be Round 1 in the VWMA drag racing series. Sydney Dragway is a quarter mile track allowing the Volksies to stretch their legs a little further and enjoy the privilege of competing on a world class international track. This event is a dial-your-own competition, allowing everyone from novice racer in their stock street registered vehicle to all-out drag cars to run at their own pace.
