History
I bought this car at an auction in Sydney in June 2008. It had previously only had one owner who had looked after it immaculately although had done some mileage in it. It’s been a dream car for me as it never lets me down and cruises very comfortably on the highways. My Dad is a massive fan of American cars of old and has owned Pontiacs, Dodges and Chevrolets. Whenever we go for a drive in it in the country, he is always saying how fantastic it is to ride in and that’s it’s the best ride he’s ever had.
It’s got all the extras in it. In fact, I only learnt when I had to get another starter motor a few years ago, that it’s a full Japanese import as it’s starter motor is smaller than the Australian built Toyota Camrys. In fact I once confused it in a dark car park one night with a Toyota Lexus. They’ve got the same body shape and exactly the same alloy wheels.
I always liked the lines of this model especially the back taillights and I intend keeping it until it becomes a classic car. So only another 9 years to go!
