Bathurst Legends Exhibition: Classic Restos - Series 31

Classic Restos are at the Shepparton Motor Museum for the Bathurst Legends Exhibition. Museum curator Graeme Balfour has managed to draw together one of the finest collections of legendary Bathurst race cars ever seen in one location. Every car and motorcycle in the Shepparton Motor Museum is privately owned and on loan to the museum with many still racing in historic racing events around Australia. These were standard cars that were available to all Australians, that raced on Sunday and sold on Monday. Cars like the 1961 XL Falcon (replica) driven by Bob Jane & the late Harry Firth, a 1983 Dick Johnson & Kevin Bartlett Greens-Tuf XC Falcon. Plus, Holden Dealer Teams most famous XU1 Torana that appeared in the 1970 Hardie Ferodo 500 driven by Colin Bond, along with a Bathurst Class winning 1973 240K Datsun, a 1971 RT Charger and a stylish 1960 Vauxhall Cresta from the Armstrong 500 era of racing, each and everyone of them with a strong racing pedigree. On display at the Shepparton Motor Museum till June 30th.
