1964 Holden Eh

History

This car is a daily driver. It sat abandoned in a paddock for more than 35 years and was going to end up at the scrap yard when we saved it, it went through a full nut bolt rebuild on a rotisserie, all work including paint, interior, engine etc was done at home in a backyard shed on a tight budget taking 18 months to complete. I have included some before photos from when we got it.. The restoration was a father daughter and son project.

Modifications

It has the original 179 engine bored out to 186, Genuine holden X2 twin carbies, mild cam, yella Terra head,
The gearbox is a commodore T700 4 speed auto with lockup convertor which is still connected to the column shift, it also has a larger Xw ford fuel tank,
