Hi Mark, the Perth-Sydney event will most probably be last time that the event is celebrated in any major way. The opportunity to obtain interviews with participants from the 1968 event, as well as participants from all other London-Sydney events, Peking to Paris, East African Safari etc, all who have entered will be unique. We have four original 1968 XT GT Falcons, 3 Holden Monaros, sister factory car Hillman Hunter to the winner Andrew Cowan, Austin 1800, Gerry Lister in his Volvo, Alfa Romeo of SA Rally Champion Stewart MacLeod, a factory prepared Vauxhall Ventora driven by Sir Jack Brabham and in the event by another of our own F1 drivers David Walker, plus the recently restored Porsche 911s of Sobieslaw Zasada 1968 European Rally Champion.
