Been that long? Wow Driven a few and actually a lot in my family had BMW minis, including several variants including hardtop, limited run coupe and SUVs. They quirky and interesting have good performance and handling. When tuned they can really be a lot of fun on the track and on the street. Just a lot of fun really and emphasis on personality. Have a huge cult following. Personally, I find them a little awkward from an ergonomic POV coming from Japanese cars. Feel cramped to me, visibility is an issue and suspension a little too stiff for me. It’s a polarising car, either love it or not, however they are never boring and that’s the point really. Interior is BMW level of quality as well car features, very refined, nice materials and put together very well. Picture friend's Mini Coupe and my STI. Coupe is impractical but doesn't matter, it just a cool car.
