I could not agree more LX355 and my dislike of black wheels was established long ago by what I saw on the racetrack, particularly in touring car racing. Black wheels make a car look cumbersome and bloated because you lose the visual effect of the wheels balancing the size of the car. They actually look like the wheels have been removed and they're up on blocks! Two of the best examples I can think of were Tom Walkinshaw's VL SS Group SV at Bathurst in 1988 and the factory Nissan GT-Rs in 1991. In both cases, the black wheels were soon flung in favour of white wheels which looked a whoooooole lot better.
