My best nostalgic car memories as a kid are my dad's best mate had a Mini Cooper S and took a 6 year old me for a fast run down our long driveway. After that the Mini was my favourite car - for a while. The other was racing home on the Dragstar from school to see our new family car. Dad's 1972 Ford Galaxie LTD. I still remember clearly when he drove past our house and I called out to mum "wow - look at that car" and then realising it was OUR car. I still have it!
