i guess for me guys, it's an escape-ism (if that is even a word). i get in into my val, turn the key, then go to my destination. wether it be to work a day trip or just a long drive. it takes my mind off things and frees me and my wife and kids from the pressures of everyday bull. and of course the strum of the v8 helps a little.
