Hi Tigermissy: I also looked into aquiring heritage plates but soon discovered that on top of needing to belong to a car club I would have to carry a log book into which I would have had to enter all journey milages in order to receive a Tasmanian Government reduction in my annual registration fee. Fortunately there are alternative plates to set-off your 'special vehicle' down here in Tassie so maybe the registration authority in NSW has a similar option. To view the Tasplates site click on.... https://www.TasPlates.com *The Targa plates I selected for my VB Commodore are listed under Sports & Leisure and accommodate 2 letters followed by 3 numbers. Click on pic 2 times to see detail.
