Interesting that GMH in Australia added the chrome strip on the upper rear guard from the Bel Air onto what was essentially the Two Ten layout, but left the anodised aluminium insert out. I'm sure the '57 flash was the inspiration to BMC Australia as to how to lift the appearance of the rear of the Morris Major without having to resort to expensive panel changes, or even having to graft on an extra fin, like the AP2 Chrysler Royal.
