Porsche is one of the world's most celebrated automotive brands and, like Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and others, is working hard to look after those who cherish older cars. While the most obvious ways of doing this is by reintroducing the most famous models as Jaguar so famously has done with the XKSS, Lightweight E-Type and E-Type, there are subtler methods of reinforcing the heritage. Porsche Classic has reprinted more than 700 original driver's manuals. As the company says, this is 'first-hand documentation for virtually all its models, starting with the 356 from model year 1952 right the way through to the the 911 type 996' (probably the most affordable of 911s at present). And I couldn't find any mention that you have to own a Porsche to avail yourself of this opportunity to add to your library!
