An excellent review of a genuine 'Super Model' JW. Audi boldly broke new ground (literally) in the WRC with all-wheel drive and I must say the Quattro in its definitive 1986 Group B specification (S1 E2) remains my favourite car from that remarkable era. Yes, the intoxicating howl of the turbo five cylinder was a sound I will never forget (thanks to Youtube!) but so was that wild aero bodywork and close to 600bhp tearing European forestry roads to shreds. 0-100km/h in just 3.1 secs - these things were beyond supercars!
