This was one of my all-time favourite covers. Even though I was only a kid, we'd all just been through the infamous 'Supercar Scare' of 1972 that killed off the XA GT-HO Phase IV. So you can imagine the impact this 1973 cover had on me, along with that heart-stopping cover line, as Wheels blew Ford's cover on its hush-hush RPO 83 Falcon GT variant. I still reckon this is a great cover - just grabs your attention doesn't it! (click on the image to view it full frame)
