Hey Pony - this is one of the best threads for a long time. Pretty exotic and fabulous collection from McLaren, Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Austin Healey, Bugatti, Chaparral, Brabham, Ford GT40, De Lorean and so on. Moparlover's VG Pacer is a natural and full marks to him. Hasbeen's reminisces are of gold standard as usual. I've driven a few of the above, so my choice of London-Sydney Marathon 1800s might seem an odd choice by comparison. I was lucky enough to have driven Rauno Aaltonen's entry which came 5th outright from Sydney to Melbourne one night to get it to the Motor Show. Compared with my stock standard Mk 1 1800, it was a revelation - words can't describe the feeling this car gave blasting down the Hume Highway when there were no speed restrictions. It's still crystal clear in my mind over 50 years later. It'd fit in my garage, I could just about take it shopping and the dog would love it.
