Some very cool Holdens there Monaro23D, from distinctly different racing eras. A VK Group A would be an ideal addition from yet another golden competition period. I was so proud of what Holden achieved during the 1980s-90s Group A touring car era, initially in partnership with Brock/HDT and later TWR. Holden was so small compared to the Euro giants it was competing against, yet it managed to create Group A contenders that were competitive against the world's best. Gricey's Bathurst wins in 1986 (VK Group A) with Graeme Bailey and 1990 (VL Group A) with Win Percy/HRT proved that. Plus Moffat/Harvey at Monza and Brocky at Bathurst in 1987 in HDT VLs. And they all relied on homologation specials which are highly prized today. Needless to say, I'd love to own one of each!
