I agree eggman67. It is amazing how much city traffic there was back then. We tend to look at the past through a rose-coloured rear-view mirror but these images don't lie - traffic congestion in Sydney has always been bad. I also like this colour image of Woolworth's first BIG W store when it opened in Tamworth NSW in 1976. Mostly Ford, Holden and Valiant in the 1970s Aussie car park with the odd Japanese model in the mix.
