I find the free-standing 'pedestal' headlights intriguing, given that Exner had used this idea on his 1961 Chrysler Imperial. With the 1970s Blackhawk, he also managed to recreate the twin-ring look of the original Blackhawk headlights. This car was big on ornamentation - viva Las Vegas!
