Retro - I still have all my early ones from the first edition printed in 1955 right through to when they changed their format to a much less charming and interesting layout in the 1970s. For most British and American cars, there was a line drawing of the car as a bonus. In the first issue, they included the Hartnett as well as the FJ, and in the early issues, Holden and unique BMC Australia cars were always given space. I mentally thanked the Observers Books when I travelled through East Europe, as all their cars were included. The address of the manufacturer was always given, and the PR department at BMC in Sydney was often flooded with requests from British school boys for brochures.
