With some help, I think I've got it now. This one is a picture of me behind Max Stewart coming through Dunlop in an incredibly wet race at Catalina. Max & I would both have died that day, if he had not been a very smart bloke. Through Dunlop & Craven A, the very tight corner at the top of the circuit our slow speed brought the spray down. I don't know if you can see in this little picture, my right hand shielding my visor from some of it. The rest of the circuit, apart from the first half of the Tunnel of Love, into the main straight the spray from Max was so thick I could only tell where he was by looking up at the 2 rooster tails off his back wheels. At the finish of the race he knew I would not be able to see the checked flag, or the bloke waving it, & continued on to Dunlop at full racing speed, where he signalled me down. We were going through pilot, the right kink after the start finish line at over 130 MPH. If he'd slowed I would have gone right over him, not being as smart as he was.
