With all of the great contributions to this story...who would have thought of rear engine tow trucks!!.....it has made me realise that the Corvair Greenbrier is a forgotten alternative for the Kombi. As classic VW Kombis become more unaffordable it will interesting to see if Greenbrier prices follow them up.
