Yes, I am impressed with the ‘factory under dash air’ in the ‘66 Ford Mustang but I can go one better. Our ‘65 Chevrolet Corvair (which actually sold directly against Fords Mustang) has one better, it has factory installed ‘in dash air conditioning’ which works with the cars heater and provides an ‘all weather system’. Now thats well ahead of its time for 1965. I have attached a few photos. Note the centre vent and the ‘eye ball’ vents at the extreme RH and LH sides of the dash.
